Seeking a great perhaps
Hey, y’all! It has been a minute.
I started this draft on January 6, 2025. I have been feeling the need to express and release. Maybe you can relate.
Today is Valentine’s Day, and it has been a beautiful Friday, to say the least. I had a hell of a Thursday, but today makes the week feel so worth it.
By the way, I interviewed the Mayor this week! I was super psyched and honored that he took the time to sit and have a conversation with me on leadership. It was for a class assignment. This quarter, I’m taking Leadership and Team Development, taught by Professor Collins. Dr. Joey is inspiration personified. I remember being deeply moved by his passion for psychology—especially I/O psychology—during my admissions interview. He just wrote a book, and it’s a dream of mine to become a published author one day. (11:11 God PLEASE lol!)
Next Friday, I also have the opportunity to interview Judge Chess! I am beyond excited to sit with her and learn from her journey. I truly believe knowledge is power. It is such a blessing to connect with people who are open to mentoring, developing, and sharing free game to help guide those coming along (i.e., me).
I Go to Seek a Great Perhaps
As I sit at the kitchen table crafting this blog post, a quote comes to mind:
"I go to seek a great perhaps." – François Rabelais.
This quote has been with me for years. I even have a coffee tumbler from 2016 with these words wrapped around it. It’s currently sitting in a storage box, but I’ll make it my business to swing by and grab it so I can show you guys.
More than anything, I’m seeking to find a community where I can belong—not just here in Seattle, but in the world. I want to connect with others, hear their stories, and create something amazing—magic.
Speaking of creating, I’ve recorded four podcast episodes so far. I am taking my divine time to craft this project, and I’m beyond excited to share my heart with the world. The podcast is all about community storytelling, healing, growth, and development. It’s a space for real conversations. Maybe someone comes to mind when you read this. Maybe that person is you.
What if we sat down and truly connected? What could we create? What could we become?
Do you have any questions for me? Any topics you’d love to explore? If so, drop a comment or send me a message—I’d love to hear from you.
Before You Go… Let’s Breathe Together
Breathwork helps to center me, time and time again. Somehow, it feels as soothing as a hug.
So real quick—let’s do it together:
Inhale… 1-2-3…
Exhale.
Again… inhale… 1-2-3…
Exhale.
If anything comes up for you, or if you have something on your heart to share, leave a comment. I’ll be in touch soon.
Until then… take care, my love.
P.S.
There is something so rejuvenating about sitting with my laptop and writing this blog. I don’t know what the future holds, but I can feel that it will be so, so beautiful. ✨
